Worker Designation – This role is hybrid. This means you will be expected to report to one of our Aflac offices located in {INSERT CITY/STATE HERE} for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.

What does it take to be successful in this role?
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the principles, techniques, and methodology of
project management, root cause analysis, and change management
• Proficient in process improvement techniques; diagnostic and creative problem-solving skills; and
excellent, analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of project development life cycle, business capabilities framework, and business process re-engineering
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all
levels of the organization and the ability to collaborate with business unit customers, IT, and
management to reach a common agreement
• Strong consultative skill set including problem identification, solution development, and gaining
buy in of customers
• Excellent presentation, oral, and written communications skills
- Insurance Industry, especially experience with reinsurance, is a plus
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Six years+ of professional job related work experience in business analysis, process improvement, developing business and/or technical documentation for end-users, business process modeling/mapping, methodologies development and in leading projects with proven success
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Education & Experience Preferred
- Certification in at least one of the following: Project Management Professional
(PMP), Lean, Six Sigma or other comparable project management/quality certification
Travel
Less than or equal to 10%
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Assists business units with resolving process inefficiencies via process improvement events,
including identifying the business problem statement, the root cause(s), metrics related to size of
impact, potential effects on the customer experience, success measures, and appropriate process
improvements and/or system changes required to resolve the business problem statement
• Acts as subject matter expert investigating the needs of the business units with focus on the
analysis and modeling of processes, technology and rules; makes recommendations to integrate
new and existing processes, technology and
