Automotive Electronics Marketing Engineer Intern - Fall 2025

The Multi-Market Power Division at onsemi in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a highly motivated student to join their team for an internship. As a Marketing Engineer Intern, you will work with the business unit engineering and marketing teams to provide support on various competitive benchmarking, collateral updates and customer assistance with technical inquires.  You will also have an opportunity to collaborate on product level demonstrations and/or evaluation boards as well as be involved with applications level support that may include bench level testing to bring new ESD protection and small signal semiconductor products to market. 

This opportunity will ask a student to have the following performance objectives:

 

• Perform device level characterization and competitive analysis of various product lines 
• Produce and refresh product related collateral such as product previews, datasheets, training content, and application notes 
• Collaborate with Application Engineers on product level demonstrations
• Address and resolve technical issues for various customers in a collaborative manner
• Collect and disseminate information on technological trends in targeted market segments
• Coordinate and communicate effectively across multiple teams on various tasks

In order to be considered for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:  

 

• Sophomore or Junior level student enrolled in an accredited BSEE undergraduate degree program
• Knowledge of basic active/passive analog circuit components, how to form and analyze useful circuits
• Knowledge of basic circuit simulation, circuit board layout techniques and soldering skills are preferred
• Lab equipment experience is a plus: Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter, Curve Tracers, parametric analyzer
• A basic understanding of discrete electronic components such as diodes, BJTs, and FETs is a plus
• Must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills with ability to multi-task
