Your Opportunity:

Navitor, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician to join the team in N. Mankato, MN!

Your Responsibilities:

• Press Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate a 6-color printing press to produce high-quality prints.
• Quality Control: Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and overall quality.
• Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure optimal press performance.
• Ink & Material Management: Load ink, paper, and other necessary materials while adjusting ink levels and press settings as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve printing issues such as color misalignment, streaking, or press malfunctions.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, workplace policies, and industry standards.
• Production Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines while minimizing waste.

Your Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

You Must Have:

• Strong understanding of color theory, ink mixing, and printing processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and print-related issues.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• Previous experience operating a multi-color printing press
• Ability to distinguish colors
• Experience in a production related environment
• High school education or equivalent

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $15 – 16. Plus Shift Differential. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
