Construction Inspector

RK&K is looking for versatile, self-sufficient, motivated individuals to help support our construction management and inspection efforts in MS-4/TMDL, environmental, and water and wastewater utility construction projects. Like-minded prospective employees should have an inspection background, technical acumen, and the soft skills necessary to effectively manage construction projects in sensitive locations.

Job location is expected in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area; specific duties will vary. 

Required Skills and Experience

• 7 years of experience in construction inspection and/or management.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding environmental compliance. Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to travel and work outside in a construction environment.
• Ability to work independently with limited daily oversight, and to communicate effectively across different platforms with project management, clients, stakeholders, and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction inspection and management experience in stormwater management, environmental restoration, and utility construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Technically proficient in Microsoft Office suite software, portable device use, and construction photography.
