Join us to build a product we can all be proud of!</p> <h4>What You Will Do</h4> <ul> <li>Collaborate with a self-organizing, cross-functional <strong>product team</strong> and cooperate closely with Software Engineers, UX Designers, Product Managers, Team Leaders, and with other specialists like Product Marketeers and Support Engineers</li> <li>Design, build and maintain application features that <strong>bring value to our customers</strong>.</li> <li>Follow and establish the <strong>best</strong> <strong>engineering practices</strong>: coding standards, automated testing, code reviews, pair programming to <strong>build high-quality software</strong> that is scalable, reliable, robust and maintainable.</li> <li>Share your thoughts <strong>openly</strong> and <strong>honestly</strong> about what is best for our customers and the business: you will be part of discussions about the future of our products and Appfire.</li> <li><strong>Be the change you seek</strong> - champion improvements within the team and products, taking a proactive approach to innovation and process enhancement.</li> <li><strong>Take ownership of your work - </strong>decide how you structure your day and assignments. We do not micromanage and strongly support work-life balance</li> </ul> <h4>What We Would Like to See</h4> <ul> <li>Proficiency with back-end technologies, specifically API development with <strong>.NET and C#. </strong>Experience with<strong> </strong>Node.js with Typescript is a plus but not required.</li> <li><strong>Truly engineering approach</strong> to solving problems. Strong theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g. data structures, algorithms and computational complexity, <span><span>FP</span></span>, <span><span>OOP</span></span>) are highly practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies.</li> <li>Strong understanding of<strong> modern microservice architectures</strong>, and practical experience implementing them in the cloud (<strong>Azure, </strong><span><span>GCP</span></span> or <span><span>AWS</span></span>), familiarity with <strong>Docker</strong> and <strong>Kubernetes</strong>.</li> <li>Solid architectural understanding of <strong>web applications</strong>, including <strong>performance</strong>, <strong>quality</strong> and <strong>security</strong> aspects.</li> <li>Desire and ability to <strong>learn and mentor </strong>others and help shape the team’s culture.</li> <li>Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is a plus (PostgreSQL or <span><span>MSSQL</span></span> are preferred).</li> <li>Command of English at <a href="https://www.coe.int/en/web/common-european-framework-reference-languages/table-1-cefr-3.3-common-reference-levels-global-scale">level <span>B2</span></a> or higher.</li> </ul> <h4>What We Offer</h4> <p><strong>Financial benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Every Appfire employee is eligible for company equity.</li> <li>Work from-home allowance: 50€ gross per month for 11 months a year (i.e. Excluding Holidays).</li> </ul> <
