Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient/family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Important dimensions of this position consist of Clinical Judgment and Quality of Care; Caring Practices; Ethical Practice and Response to Diversity; Systems Effectiveness; Clinical Inquiry and Learning; and Leadership and Collaboration. These dimensions incorporate the competencies defined by the California Board of Registered Nursing and the ANA Standardsof Clinical Nursing Practice. Ability to work during weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various shift hours.
Job Description:
EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Registered Nurse - State Licensure - RN Required
EXPERIENCE
Experience in acute care or sub-acute care nursing. Required
Minimum 1 year experience as a circulator in a hospital setting.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.
Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills are required.
Community - Promotes a positive relationship between Sutter Health and the community.
Finance - Utilizes resources to deliver quality care in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Growth - Actively manages patient/family plan of care throughout the hospitalization to achieve optimal transition and progression toward discharge for patient/family. Meets requirements of the position as well as additional responsibilities as assigned.
People - Coordinates the activities of the health care team in a professional manner according to the Standards of Excellence promoting a positive work environment.
Quality - Provides optimal care to patients' and family which is collaborative, evidence based and meets /facility standards to achieve the best possible outcome.
Service - Cares for patient/family according to the Sutter Difference standards and activities ensuring the best patient/family experience

Pay Range is $68.84 to $91.15 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
