This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.You will report to the GS1 Mid Module Director and directly support all aspects of project management to include cost, schedule, procurement tracking, risk & opportunity, subcontractors, and change management. You will use your project engineering skills to organize and update budgets, schedules, and program plans to ensure development, qualification and production hardware is delivered per program requirements. You will use your technical background to understand and effectively communicate with Blue Origin internal organizations and suppliers to guide project planning.
You will build subsystems project management plans and manage project schedules, WBS, and cost, as well coordinate schedules to integrate the subsystem development with the overall vehicle programs. You will present status, risks & opportunities, variances, and recovery plans to engineering and program management.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Business, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Management
10+ years’ experience in program management and business management in a development environment
Experience leading multidisciplinary development projects, including managing requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and cost
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience. Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management
Experience with Project Management Tools such as MS Project, P6 Primavera or similar
Aptitude for hands-on problem solving, with a passion for spacecraft systems
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Self-starter who is comfortable operating and making decisions in ambiguous environments
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Desired:
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
Cost account management (CAM) experience
Experience building tools to for Data Analytics (handling large datasets, SQL, post processing data)
Experience with verification, integration, and test, of orbital launch vehicles or human rated spacecraft.
Strong business management acumen and experience managing large, geographically dispersed programs with large subcontractors.
Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $140,959.00-$197,342.25Other site ranges may differ
