As a Security Guard - Media Facility Patrol - Full Time in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a SCREENER in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will help create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals entering the premises, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
• Screen individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate and directed by Allied Universal or site management.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during the shift.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or other personnel at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
