As an Electrical Project Engineer with LotusWorks, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting high-tech construction projects within mission-critical sectors like semiconductor and data centers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with technical electrical systems implementation, and ensure alignment between field installation and design intent in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with daily electrical engineering tasks.
- Lead coordination efforts for electrical systems with subcontractors and field teams.
- Interpret and support design intent for electrical raceways, cable trays, and underground installations.
- Manage and process RFIs, Change Orders, and Owner Pay Applications.
- Support field purchasing, production analysis, and schedule updates specific to electrical scopes.
- Mentor office engineers and support project reporting such as Monthly Margin Analysis.
- Actively participate in jobsite safety programs, meetings, and electrical-specific audits.
- Utilize and support VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) strategies and BIM tools for electrical installations.
- Conduct inspections, prepare reports, and ensure quality assurance throughout project execution.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills:
- 3+ years of project engineering experience in electrical scopes within semiconductor or data center environments.
- Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE standards, and semiconductor facility design considerations.
- Experience with VDC tools and model coordination (e.g., BIM 360, Navisworks).
- Familiarity with construction scheduling software and documentation workflows.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Education / Licenses / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E certifications.
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.

Hourly Rate:$45—$50 USDEligibility for per diem is determined by company policy and is applicable only under specific circumstances, based on job location and travel requirements.
