Assistant Store Manager

Description

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team! The person in this role will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the store runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will also assist in implementing sales strategies, training new employees, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.

What Your Day Will Look Like: 

• Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and decision-making 
• Supervise and train store staff to ensure exceptional customer service 
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment 
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment 
• Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet targets 
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally 
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide regular reports to management 
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures 
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager 

Who You Are: 

• Previous management experience is required 
• Strong leadership and communication skills 
• Excellent customer service skills with a customer-focused approach 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment 
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sales systems 
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends 
• Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull at minimum 35 lbs.? 
• Must be able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.? 
• Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop 
• Must be able to walk and stand on hard surfaces for an extended period of time
