We are looking to hire a Senior Manager - Process Improvement immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview

Working as a member of the Central Capabilities team under the general supervision of the Process Capabilities Director, the primary purpose of this role is to work as a business partner to establish and execute a data-driven approach to continuous improvement. Duties within the role include but are not limited to; driving and partnering with global leaders and their teams to deliver process efficiency initiatives such as process mining/automation/improvement as well as leading and supporting process capture efforts. Expectations within this role is to use the standard process discipline methodologies implemented as well as provide insights into industry best practice tools, process discipline championship, facilitation and consultation when needed. The geographic scope of this position is global.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business leaders to develop a data-driven approach to continuous improvement utilizing impactful measures and dashboarding that inform ongoing operational efficiency gains.

  • Work across different businesses, functions, and regions to understand end-to-end business processes & data architectures, identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform business process analysis using process mining tools to build process maps, identify process variants & bottlenecks, and come up with meaningful insights about the process.
  • Consult and engage with the business units to cultivate automation opportunities, to identify specific processes suitable for automation, and to optimize and/or standardize business processes, incl. automation opportunity pro-active identification, analysis and readiness re-engineering.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop an improvement program and associated quantifiable benefits, incl. a proactive assessment of the most appropriate improvement approach per initiative as well as a proposed execution timeline.
  • Execute quality audits/ process adherence compliance, inclusive of recommendations based on the data and partnership with delivery teams within the audit cadence cycle.
  • Benchmark process adherence and compliance against appropriate models/companies.
  • Identify the most appropriate reporting packages needed to ‘tell the story’ and ensure that identified key stakeholders are kept informed regarding the improvement plans and strategies agreed with the business partners.

 

Partner/Lead process standardization and efficiency operations

  • Lead process discipline projects/programs (as determined) in accordance with methodologies such as, but not limited to, the process deep dive lifecycle, RCA, and others, using agreed.
  • McCormick format/ templates and methodologies.
  • Lead end-to-end Process Mining projects for dedicated function/department and/or thread, from concept to implementation.
  • Manage, Partner and Lead the Customer Centricity program streamlining processes across dedicated threads for continuity, effectiveness, and efficiencies.
  • Project Manage larger automation initiatives and projects.
  • Deliver Reporting, incl. improvement hours/value realization, as required.

 

Facilitation and training

  • Design and deliver business training, as determined to build organizational process standardization, improvement as well as customer centricity capabilities.

 

Global business networking, connectivity, and Process Discipline awareness

  • Work in conjunction and collaboration with the wider Central Capabilities team.
