Foamline Head End Operator

Summary:

This role is responsible for set up the foamline machine and provides direction to foamline colleagues.

Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is between $24.00 and $27.00 p/h. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, and premium pay. Essential Functions:

• Enter work orders into the system.
• Answer questions, assist in troubleshooting process and product issues. Coordinate support activities for other areas of production.
• Maintain a safe work environment and actively participate in safety initiatives.
• Support employee training and direction on the foam line.
• Partner with the engineers and supervisors to help develop sound operator work instructions, train new operators to those work instructions.
• Work toward continuous process improvements; participate and/or support on improvement teams as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.  May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing
• Mechanical aptitude
• General computer software skills
