WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Working within an agile development environment to produce high quality software
- Leveraging an existing JavaScript framework and contributing to its continued enhancement, extensibility and stability
- Helping to design and implement new features
- Optimizing and increasing performance of code
- Debugging, investigating and fixing bugs
- Participating in code reviews to maintain code-base quality and awareness
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
- BS in Computer Science, equivalent degree, or previous work experience
- 4+ years demonstrated expertise developing in JavaScript with modern frameworks
- A strong understanding of vanilla Javascript (ES2019+) and demonstrated experience
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Experience working in an agile development environment utilizing either Kanban or Scrum
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira
- Experience with coordinated Full Stack development efforts
- Experience with Git and Pull Request review
- Experience leveraging REST APIs with JSON
- Experience working with React/Redux
EVEN BETTER
- Experience with Node.js and NPM
- Familiarity with Material UI
- Experience building and contributing to frameworks
- Experience with JavaScript testing libraries (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
- Experience with docker and container based environments
- Experience with JSS in CSS and/or substantial knowledge in user interface styling
- Experience with advanced debugging techniques, you are a dev tools ninja
