Opportunity
This individual will lead the Operational strategy design and tactical execution on key initiatives. This individual will become an expert on all aspects of our Artificial Intelligence & Data business model. Lead across functional areas to execute on a comprehensive plan coordinating with all stakeholders from data, technology, internal stakeholders and senior leadership teams. Ensure alignment on priorities involving process improvement, operational efficiency, and enhanced client experience. This individual be responsible and accountable for flawless execution on complex project deliverables and plans.
This role provides a rare opportunity to lead substantial technology and workflow improvements related to the inner workings of the acceleration of AI and Data modernization of a 178-year-old, Fortune 100 company.
Responsibilities
- Trusted advisor and brainstorming partner to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer with the vision for the AI & Data team including organizational design, evaluating roles and responsibilities, and defining key business partner responsibilities.
- Manage operational business strategy and complexity across multiple vendors and technology platforms.
- Make recommendations which may include implementing technology, assessing footprint, and introducing new capabilities.
- Partner with CDAO to identify opportunity to develop individuals and teams to achieve their full potential, finding skills gaps, potential rotations and areas of opportunities and help develop a plan to address them.
- Collaborate with the CDAO leadership team and cross functional partners to track, analyze and report performance per project goals, and change initiatives, as needed.
- Manage and enable the execution of the CDAO leadership team’s regular activities including meeting agenda, all hands, direct staff’s check-in sessions, planning sessions, staff meetings, leadership and team events.
- Strategic communications and event strategy linking the leadership team and various functions within the CDAO org, broader finance org and cross-functional partners.
- Establish, manage, and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly strategic priorities, operational goals and multi-year strategic goals.
Project Execution Ownership
- Represent AI & Data with internal and external business partners as project owner - build business requirements, build alignment among stakeholders, navigate business policy decisions with technology, legal/compliance, vendors, and other teams.
- Effectively lead, direct, and support cross functional project teams consisting of multiple work streams
- Define project scope with multiple business representatives; work with stakeholders to gather overall requirements, determine prioritization, internal/external communication needs, operational impact.
Process Improvement
- Redesign current policies and procedures and related workflows to improve processing efficiency.
- Provide independent, informed, unbiased insight including on the ground feedback.
Operations / Staff Development
- Partner with CDAO to identify opportunity to develop individuals and teams to achieve their full potential, finding skills gaps, potential rotations and areas of opportunities and help develop a plan to address them.
- Act as subject matter expert for critical operational training needs; help shape the content development strategy using expertise and knowledge of operations in partnership with Human Resources and its Learning & Development team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree; Business or Technology discipline preferred
- A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in leading operations, required background in: project management, process improvement, and experience in building and launching new solutions.
- Understands the data and analytics industry, including regulatory framework; maintains current knowledge of industry and trends and is able to apply that knowledge to existing business processes with a focus towards process improvement.
