Job Description

This position has a flexible hybrid schedule 

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$95,000

The IU Foundation’s Accounting & Finance Department is actively seeking a dynamic Senior Portfolio Accounting Analyst  to join our team. You’ll provide critical support in reporting, analysis, and query creation within the Portfolio Accounting team which is responsible for the accounting for all IUF investments including the IU endowment.

As IUF is transitioning to a new financial reporting system, you’ll be a key player in learning, testing, and implementing our new reporting  software. Your role will be instrumental in providing comprehensive support in report creation, generation, analysis, and database queries.

You will serve as the liaison between the Accounting & Finance Department and the IT Department and will play a pivotal role in staying updated on relevant IT projects. As the Senior Analyst, you'll be the subject matter expert on our reporting and query software tools by actively maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our financial systems and IUF investments.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, analytics, information technology, or related field required
• 3 years of experience in IT, financial reporting, accounting, or the non-profit sector strongly preferred
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Data Visualization and Query software such as Snowflake, DBeaver, and Tableau preferred
• Combination of education and experience will be considered 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Enhanced problem-solving abilities
• Developed organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects concurrently
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Data Visualization and Query software such as Snowflake, DBeaver, and Tableau preferred
• Excellent writing abilities
