Cluster Category Manager - Services
About the Role
Reporting to the Cluster Procurement Manager North America, working as part of a multi-functional team, the role of Cluster Category Manager for Services is responsible for the procurement activities of the General & Professional services, T&E and IT category of spend (“Services”) in North America.
What you will do
- <span 72="">Lead North America procurement category managers for the Services category.
- <span 72="">Act as a set category liaison for Global Category Managers
- <span 72="">Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- <span 72="">Apply Category Management principles and develop and coordinate Regional/Local implementation plans as per Global/Regional directions.
- <span 72="">Ensure business connectivity and foster collaborative business partnership with specific stakeholders.
- <span 72="">Manage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with key regional suppliers.
- <span 72="">Ensure cluster alignment and compliance with strategies.
- <span 72="">Be a role model in compliance and ethics.
Who We Are Looking For
A dynamic, passionate, and result-oriented person, with:
- <span 72="">Minimum of 7 years in indirect Procurement area, preferably in a multinational company, with team-leading experience.
- <span 72="">Knowledgeable in the development and execution of procurement policies and procedures to a high standard as well as a good knowledge of SRM process.
- <span 72="">Excellent understanding and experience in category management and strategic sourcing process.
- <span 72="">Business, financial and contract acumen.
- <span 72="">Comfortable leading and driving commercial negotiations.
- <span 72="">Strong and demonstrated communication skills.
- <span 72="">Ability to work under limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, and consistently meet deadlines.
- <span 72="">Experience and knowledge of identified categories and industry best practices is an asset.
- <span 72="">Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships and credibility with senior-level internal stakeholders and affiliates as well as suppliers.
- <span 72="">Establishes ownership and personal accountability for assigned categories and projects.
- <span 72="">Demonstrated organizational skill
