This role will support the Rebuild shop by inspecting, disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling components maintained in the site stockroom. This role is crucial in ensuring that parts meet the necessary standards and specifications for reuse. The Rebuild Technician will work closely with maintenance, quality control, and production teams to maintain the highest levels of product reliability and performance.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
- Experience with Systems Applications and Products (SAP), understanding of work orders, time confirmations, Materials
- Obtain kitted or requests parts from the Stockroom
- Follows job plans as outlined on the work order
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to evaluate the condition of parts
- Document findings in inspection reports
- Rebuild components such as gearboxes, pumps, and valves using precision tools and equipment
- Test components to ensure they function correctly after rebuilding
- Create detailed tags for parts rebuilt, including serial numbers and rebuild dates
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Inspect parts and components to determine the extent of wear, damage, or failure
Education Requirements:
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- 1 years’ experience in this role or equivalent vocational and technical training
Functional Skills:
- Must be able to use a computer and associated software programs
- Professional or personal experience with mechanical rebuilding
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of technical data, such as blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders relating to the rebuilt materials
- Ability to assemble components accurately, maintaining specified tolerances and clearances

Pay Range:
$57,100 - $73,500Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
