We are searching for an innovative Designer with experience creating engaging spaces for Hospitality, Multifamily Residential, and Mixed Use projects 

 

What You Will Do   

  • Lead architectural deliverables on projects, working with the Design Director, Technical Director, and project team for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production  

  • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives   Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions  

  • Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings  

  • The ideal candidate for this role will have an interest in project management responsibilities such as: managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination 

  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs  

  • Advance the understanding that design resilience is a responsibility of every person at Gensler  

  • Cultivate design expertise with the desire to always learn, grow, and evolve  

  • Actively support firmwide sustainability and resilience goals, guiding clients and project teams toward multi-benefit sustainable and resilient design solutions 

  

Your Qualifications   

  • Professional degree (Master or Bachelor) in Architecture from an accredited program 

  • Approximately 8-10 years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scale (Hospitality, Multifamily Residential, and Mixed Use) 

  • Must be proficient in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, Sketch-up, 3D Studio Max, VRay, and Adobe Suite
