Leads and manages multiple departments comprised of technical team members and managers from varied disciplines. Responsible for developing, designing and implementing Information Security awareness program initiatives. Provide long-term solutions to Information Technology needs, including protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, perusal, inspection, recording or destruction.What You'll Do
- Leads and manages the Information Security team comprised of technical team members and managers from varied disciplines. Manages Director level employees. Has significant responsibility for developing the capabilities of senior level staff, managers and directors.
- Directs and develops the implementation of goals, objectives, and work standards without focus on the daily operational activities.
- Develops and directs the implementation of policies and procedures that comply with regulatory and statutory guidelines, rules, and standards.
- Authorizes projects, approves project designs and cost estimates. Reports projects’ status and critical issues to IT senior management.
- Sets objectives and priorities and ensures the effective allocation and use of departments’ resources.
- Develops and administers departments’ budgets with input from work group managers.
- Leads planning and strategy development for multiple departments and is a key participant in strategic planning for the IT Operations function. Translates strategic goals and priorities into technical strategies and objectives for his/her departments.
- Introduces best practices and ensures the timeliness and quality of his/her departments’ delivery of products and services.
- Writes and conducts performance reviews, provides ongoing performance feedback. Establishes salary budget and approves salary increases. Makes hiring decisions.
- Frequently interfaces with executives inside and outside the company to make operational and project-related decisions, to resolve critical issues, to gather industry and competitive information and to foster a productive professional network.
- Develops, coordinates, and provides for overall administration of annual and strategic goals.
- Confers with Executive Management regarding departmental requirements and solutions; facilitates the resolution of problems and the development of new initiatives to support business segments.
- Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
