Cam Pack Line- 1st shift

Position Purpose:

Performs all necessary duties to facilitate customer packaging and delivery requirements. Operator is well versed in use of daily picks, order preparation, label applications and shipping requirements. Operator will do changeover / normal maintenance and machine clean up, associated with daily operations. 

 

Hourly or Salary Range: $17.25 - $20.35

 

Essential Functions:

• Must be able to demonstrate an adequate knowledge of all machine functions
• Must have understanding and proper use of documents and reference materials
• Prevent unnecessary down time on the job being performed
• Fill customer orders as required
• Pull and maintain inventory
• Operator is responsible for the safety of others while performing required duties
• Areas must be in good condition, free of obstructions and any other obstacles, oil or others spills in the area
• Follow all other instructions from management while in the work environment
• Forklift license required

 

 

Education and Training:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree

Minimum Qualifications:

• Related experience or training, or combination of education and experience
• Basic math skill and attention to detail
• Ability to work with different parts within normal line operations
• Ability to use computer data-based information and applications

 Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand 8 – 12 hours per day
• Ability to climb safety ladders
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• The employee must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds

Environmental Conditions:

• Eye protection always required
• Hearing protection always required
• Steel toe boots with metatarsals always required
• Exposure to hot & cold temperatures
• Exposure to noisy conditions
