Job Description

As a Security Professional - Industrial Site - Multiple Shifts  in Lugoff, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
