The Job:
As a Warehouse Lead, you’ll be part of our STANLEY® Engineered Fastening (“SEF”) Hopkinsville, KY Team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to:
- Monitors shipping paperwork throughout the warehouse
- Tracking and scheduling the loading and unloading of trucks
- Responsible for transmission of ASNs for automotive
- Calls truck lines daily for part pick-ups including expedited freight
- Responsible for international shipping of product (export paperwork)
- Maintains positive and productive communication with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Maintains organized filing system for related paperwork
- Maintains Shipping related policies and ensures proper procedures are being followed
- of packaging and other warehouse related supplies
- Special projects related to cost savings or other business-related improvements within Logistics
- Collaboratively work with Supervisors/Managers to ensure timely response to customers both internal and external
- Other duties as assigned
The Person:

- High School Graduate or GED required
- Associates degree preferred
- 3+ years experience in shipping warehouse coordinator functions
- Advanced knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and JDEdwards
- Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement)
- Common sense understanding to carry out work instructions
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Good computer knowledge, preferably with Microsoft office
- Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects timely
- Ability to work overtime as required and assist with weekend emergency shipments as needed.
- Ability to give basic instruction and provide oversight to warehouse.
