Job Description
The Role in Brief:
As a Digital Marketing Project Leader, you will play a pivotal role in strategizing, implementing, and optimizing the company's digital marketing initiatives. You will be in charge of ensuring our online presence, encompassing a diverse array of responsibilities, including managing website updates, SEO/SEA strategies, social media campaigns, content writing for blog articles and overseeing online promotional activities. This role ensures effective lead and conversion tracking, data analysis, and reporting of digital KPIs for informed decision-making. The Digital Marketing Project Leader thrives on driving digital success by leveraging analytical insights, fostering impactful online engagement, and delivering measurable results aligned with the company's marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the content is distributed using a targeted, omnichannel approach.
- Maintain and update the company website regularly to ensure content accuracy and relevancy.
- Convert printed material content into online articles for the website and the blog.
- Implement and manage SEO (SEO writing, finding of appropriate keywords, competitive analysis) and SEA strategies to enhance online visibility and rankings.
- Oversee LinkedIn social media activities and paid advertising campaigns. Take in charge community management to increase the interactions with the page and the posts.
- Manage various online promotion platforms to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
- Track leads generated from downloads and incoming website inquiries. Collaborate with the sales team to follow the conversions.
- Keep the marketing budget inherent to your function up to date and ensure that the costs fit with the allocated budget.
- Collaborate with design and content teams for the creation of scientifically accurate content (visual and written).
- Implement marketing automation (e-mailing) strategies to streamline workflows. Knowledge of Zoho and Marketo is a plus.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to propose innovative marketing strategies.
- Manage relationships with external agencies or consultants for specific marketing needs.
- Continuously optimize conversion rates and user experience on the website.
- Regularly report on KPIs (website traffic, inquiries, downloads, social media engagement, and email marketing metrics) and your activities.
Qualifications
Skills & Abilities:
In order to succeed in this role, you should have:
- Understanding of scientific topics, especially in cell biology, and familiarity with the drug discovery and development process.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to improve strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress would be advantageous.
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree with a scientific background in biology turned into Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or other related fields.
