Outpatient Retail Pharmacy Manager- Jackson Building

As an Outpatient Retail Pharmacy Manager, you will play a key role in leading our pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care and exceptional customer service.
 

The Outpatient Pharmacy Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the outpatient pharmacy and the 4 direct reports at our Jackson Building. The Manager provides comprehensive medication-related care for the purpose of achieving excellent outcomes that improve a patient's health and quality of life. Works very closely with physicians and other health care professionals to coordinate and optimize the treatment of the patient. Is responsible for assisting the pharmacy director with preparing and performing all activities involved in the operation of the outpatient pharmacy. Assists the Director in complying with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Will assist in new process implementation and quality improvement initiatives. Responsible for inventory management and the ongoing financial performance of the outpatient pharmacy.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm (with occasional weekend coverage at Pavilion Pharmacy.)

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Requires current Indiana license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacist
• Requires PharmD or BS degree in Pharmacy.
• 5 - 7 years pharmacist experience is required
• Requires knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to dispensing of drugs and narcotics
• Management experience is preferred
