Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. SUMMARY

The Housekeeping Assistant Shift Manager is responsible for supervising staff and overseeing the daily operations of a designated shift to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met throughout the casino property.

  • Ensures day-to-day cleaning of the casino and hotel property is completed in accordance with established standards on the assigned shift

  • Coordinates and oversees deep-cleaning activities to minimize impact on casino operations during the applicable shift

  • Inspects completed work to ensure quality, cleanliness, and adherence to departmental standards

  • Maintains supply par levels in accordance with standard operating procedures for the designated shift

  • Recommends and assists with ordering supplies and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels

  • Ensures all housekeeping equipment is in proper working condition and that the department has the necessary tools to complete assigned tasks

  • Enforces OSHA standards and promotes a safe working environment for team members

  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements within the area of responsibility and reports potential compliance issues to management

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate degree (A.A.) in related field; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
