About the Position
Dexis Professional Services is recruiting for a Program Assistant who will be embedded within USAID's Center for Education, Bureau for Inclusive Growth, Partnerships, and Innovation. The Program Assistant will provide critical administrative, programmatic, and operational support to ensure the functioning of the Center, which supports education development initiatives around the world, through the Education Support Initiative 2 (ESI 2) institutional support contract. The Program Assistant will work closely with the Center’s Leadership Team and primarily with the E&L Division Lead to support an array of activities that ensure the division and the Center is responsive to its mission.
This full-time position is located in the Washington, D.C. area and is predominantly onsite with three (3) days per week in the office required.
Responsibilities
- Program and Administrative Support
- Provide administrative, basic accounting, and workflow management support to E&L staff.
- Provide scheduling and coordination support to E&L staff.
- Ensure external and internal meetings and conference calls run smoothly and effectively by managing invites and conference call details, organizing meeting logistics, preparing meeting materials, preparing minutes and actions, coordinating follow-up, and booking facilities.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting materials, including data collection, preparation and assembly of materials.
- Track next steps on meeting outcomes and communications.
- Coordinate staff travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, USAID’s travel systems and country clearances, visa application, and ground transportation.
