Electrical Engineering/Hardware Design Intern

About our group:

Seagate Systems Electrical Engineering Team is now part of the Seagate Hardware Development organization. This is an exciting place to work as we are rapidly growing and expanding technology solutions being delivered for Seagate. If you have a passion for being directly involved in a hardware development environment and being involved with systems level design that crosses over to platform software understanding, as well as doing real hands-on work in a lab environment, then this is the opportunity for you.

About the role - you will:

• Work with a world-class circuit design team
• Gain hands-on experience with systems processor modules, data storage and communications circuit designs
• Become familiar with the entire circuit board development process, including initial design, circuit board simulation, layout/routing, fabrication and assembly, bring-up and debug to production release
• Interact with multi-disciplinary teams engaged in product design and development

About you:

• Current student pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and will be returning to classes in Fall 2024
• Interested in circuit design and qualification
• Team player
   

Your experience includes:

• Fundamental understanding of
  • Circuit design
  • Micro-processors
  • Data communications/data storage interfaces

 

You might also have:

• Experience in circuit simulation or layout a plus

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $23.50 – $34.50. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
