PATIENT CARE SPECIALIST - Albany, GA

 AMERIMED-MIH  is seeking experienced, highly motivated individuals to fill the position of Patient Care Specialist (PCS). The patient care specialist is responsible for in-home assessment and care of patients.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Performing patient care duties such as obtaining vital signs
• Documenting patient care encounters
• Assisting the APP in performing lab tests, blood draws, wound care, and other procedures.
• Perform home visits to assist patient in connecting to a Provider via telehealth
• Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.,
• Applicants must successfully pass a urine drug test and background check
• Be able to drive/ride in a company owned car for long distances and physically meet the demands of the job.
• May require some office/administration duties as well. EMR experience a plus.
• Must have experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT or Paramedic
• Compensation based on experience with weekly pay and bonus incentives for patients seen as well paid weekly

Applicants are required to have the following:

• Current CPR card
• Current Drivers License
• Clean Driving Record
• Patient Care Experience Required.  Relevant experience may include:
  • Medical Assistant (Certification Preferred but not required)
  • EMT
  • Nursing Assistant (Certification Preferred but not required)
