Job Title: Production Worker
Department Name: Warehouse
Reports to (title): Production Manager
Business Unit: SVS Denton, MD
Job Summary: Production Worker creates or assembles finished products through the use of various tools or machinery. They are part of an assembly of workers, each with specific roles in the production process, including:
Essential Job Functions:
- Assembling Fence products
- Routing on CNC machinery
- Cutting on abrasive and miter saws
- Measuring material
- Verification of production
- Recording Bill of Materials
- Material handling
- Material packaging
- Forklift Operation – (if applicable)
- Parts packaging
- Strapping material
- Keep track and report cuts and damage of product
- Report to Production Manager with production estimates and updates
- Signal mechanical errors to Production Manager
- Cleans workstation daily
Requirements
Required Skills & Abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Can operate a forklift with proper certification
- Understands safety regulations and applies them daily
- Flexible
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Is very detail-oriented
- Can read a measuring tape
- Can operate a forklift with proper certification
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Physical Demands (standing, sitting, walking, lifting, reaching, climbing)
