Is this you? </p><p>Become one of our 16 International Trainees at Vattenfall. Each of the trainee positions is unique, linked to a department within a specific business area and a working location. This means that each position has its own specific responsibilities, challenges and matching profile. </p><p>Next to your personal development in this unique position you will be enjoying one year of all we have to offer. Your trainee year will be filled with meetups with your international trainee team with likeminded individuals. You will be meeting up virtually to work on assignments and live during four seminar weeks where you will be visiting our power plants and growing your superpowers with a variety of trainings.  </p><p><strong>Your role as a International Trainee - Project Management Officer </strong> </p><p>The PMO team is a team of Project Management Officers who are working in our Offshore Windfarm projects from the very early phases of the project until handover of the project to our Operation &amp; Maintenance. A project Management Officer is allocated to 1 or 2 projects to supports the Project director with PMO services and is part of the leadership team of the project. The key deliverables are establishment and maintenance of the project organization, setting up structure, meetings, reporting, prepare and facilitate project and SteerCo meeting, establish high level planning of resource overviews, plans and facilitating the project is passing the toll gates and is also responsible for the admin support and document management set-up in the projects. Furthermore the PMO drives a number of initiatives and assignment delegated by the project or Program director to the PMO .</p><p>The PMO trainee’s main tasks will be to support the Senior PMOs with the PMO services to the project, such as:</p><ul><li>Assist with planning and facilitating project meeting, workshops and events</li><li>Assist with planning and coordination of tollgate passage activities as internal and external project assessments and reviews</li><li>Prepare project reporting and presentations</li><li>Assist with overall management plans are in place</li><li>Develop and maintain project management handbook</li><li>Drive or assist with project management improvement projects as improving toolbox, processes and standardized ways of working within project management</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Who are you?  </strong></p><p>Whether you want a climate smarter career as an energy specialist, visionary manager, or inspirational project lead in the energy sector, we offer you these possibilities within the Trainee Programme.  </p><p><strong>For succeeding in this role</strong></p><p>You have an analytical mindset and the ability to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. You have a structured approach and the ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. You are collaborative and build partnerships to effectively work with others to meet shared objectives. You can openly and comfortably relate with diverse groups of people. You are communicative and can develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.</p><p>Furthermore, you have:</p><ul><li>Relevant degree within Business administration, Science, Technology, Engineering or similar</li><li>project management knowledge preferable gained through training/certification like IPMA C, PMI or similar</li><li>first practical work experience related to project management is an advantage</li><li>Excellent user skills of MS Office (in particular Excel and Power Point)</li><li>Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken</li></ul><p>You are our ideal trainee if you are a recent graduate with an academic degree and have maximum one year of work experience, or you graduate before February 2024.
