Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under limited supervision, administers human resources policies and procedures.
  • Collects and analyzes HR data, and makes recommendations to management.Performs activities in functions such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, compliance reporting and employee relations.
  • Participates with recruiting programs, interviewing, screening, evaluating and selecting qualified applicants.
  • Participates with managers regarding job evaluation requests.
  • Interprets human resources policies, counsels employees concerning work related problems and conducts termination interviews.
  • Conducts and prepares material for employee orientations.
  • Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares recommendations on assigned projects.
  • Provides assistance to management regarding employee relations practices.
  • May provide technical guidance to managers and/or staff.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.Knowledge of HR techniques, applications and programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.
  • Must have strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to utilize and recognize ways to improve workflow efficiency and implement change.

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong initiative, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate must have a naturally curious mindset, interested in learning the business and industry and capable of building credibility into the business quickly and across all functions. This position requires an extremely perceptive person (organizational and situational awareness), who can relate to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, candidate/employee goodwill, and the public image.

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.
  • General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, enlisting the needed cooperation for successful implementation of programs and other measures needed to meet performance standard.

Compensation: 

This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $80,000 – $95,000 annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
