Assembly/Bundling Technician

The Assembly/Bundling Technician works to assemble and group different components for building machines in an efficient and effective manner and bundles those components for shipping.

Education/Experience

• Assembly or manufacturing experience a plus

Accountabilities

• Assemble, fit and install fabricated and prefabricated parts to form a finished product using hand and power tools
• Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly and connect cables, tubes and wires
• Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques
• Prepare parts for shipment
• Safe operation of manufacturing equipment including lift trucks, hoists and cranes
• Understand the component of assembling the machine and/or equipment
• Work productively as directed
• Overtime may be required during certain times of the year
• Ensure a clean working area
• Follow established policies and procedures for acceptable attendance, safety and quality standards

Work Conditions

• Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions
• Working in manufacturing plant environment.
• Employee may be exposed to dust, odors, fumes and high levels of noise at times, will be required to wear personal protective equipment
• Lifting or moving 25 – 50 pounds with mechanical assistance will be required
• Exposure to temperature fluctuations
