We have an immediate need for a per diem Radiology Technologist for a growing clinic in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by keeping up with continuing education and continuing to learn.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment, and answering questions.
- Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position, adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- Minimizes radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; following drug protocols in case of reactions to drugs, such as contrast media, administering first aid, and using the emergency cart.
- Works with other clinical staff and physicians to deliver exceptional patient care
- Fill out all of the required paperwork for each procedure or radiographic exam, including any studies that the facility may be participating in.
- Assist in retrieving and stocking supplies for procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the mission, values, and strategies of CPIhealth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Surgical setting as an X-ray Technologist.
- Orthopedic X-ray experience preferred.
- Graduate from an American Medical Association-approved program in Radiologic Sciences.
- Current ARRT certification as well as Colorado Medical Board License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously in a small group, but be a team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
