Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, intelligent, and driven Junior Data Analyst on a part-time basis for our Product Management organization. You will be working on highly impactful projects supporting business critical process automations, product integrations and data exchange. You will also have a chance to work with machine learning and AI.

Responsibilities:

·       Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

·       Implement and monitor processes for effective distribution and use of processed data

·       Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

·       Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

·       Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, spreadsheets, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems

·       Develop reporting systems for operational data and prepare effective summaries for Senior Leadership

·       Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

·       Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
 

Skills Required:

·       Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, or equivalent projects completed during educational experience

·       Ability to make decisions and move forward in an ambiguous and rapidly-changing environment

·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

·       Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

·       Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

·       BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Business Management, Finance, or Statistics

Skills Preferred:

·       Knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.).

·       Programming experience (Python, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).

·       Technical expertise regarding data mod
