Security Officer/Campus Monitor -Mamaroneck, NY

Job Summary:

Arrow Security is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Security Greeter/Campus Monitor Floater for the Schools in Westchester County. Must have prior experience as a School Security Greeter/Monitor. As a Security Greeter/Monitor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the students, staff, and guests within Westchester County.

This on-call position requires individuals who are reliable, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and can present a professional appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Security Greeter, providing a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and guests within the Mamaroneck School District.
• Maintain a vigilant presence, observing and reporting any suspicious activities or individuals to the appropriate authorities.
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they adhere to the school district's security protocols and policies.
• Provide directions and guidance to visitors, staff, and students regarding the appropriate locations within the school district.
• Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a coordinated response to any security-related incidents.
• Be available on-call to fill in as a Security Greeter when needed, responding to short-notice requests and maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

Requirements:

• Prior school greeter/campus monitor experience
• Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential for effectively interacting with students, staff, and guests.
• Physical ability to walk and move from building to building throughout the school district as required.
• Availability to be on-call for fill-in Security Greeter service, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and the ability to respond to short-notice requests.
• Must have experience working in schools.

$22.28 pay rate + $2.30 supplemental =$24.58

Follow a school schedule Monday through Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm or 7:45am to 3:45pm
