Director of Behavioral Health/Licensed Therapist

Fort Kent, Maine

 

Signet Health is pleased to be partnering with Northern Maine Medical Center to create a new Outpatient Senior Adult Behavioral Health program and an Outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program located in Fort Kent, Maine.  The programs are scheduled to open in early spring.  Immediate opportunities for a fulltime Director of Behavioral Health/Licensed Therapist (LCSW or LPC) and a Cardiopulmonary Rehab Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Overseeing all day-to-day operations of the two units
• Providing group therapy
• Supervision of program staff
• Ensuring compliance with hospital, state, federal and licensing agency regulatory standards
• Establishing relationships with community leaders and service providers to promote/foster the positive reputation of the programs.

 

 

Requirements/Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

• Maine licensure as a master’s level Social Worker or Professional Counselor.
• Related supervisory experience working with behavioral health patients in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
