Glen Park senior living community in Glendale, CA is seeking a reliable, proactive Assistant Administrator to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a high standard of care for residents.
In this key leadership role, you’ll help drive a culture of accountability, quality, and resident-centered care. You’ll play a critical role in regulatory compliance (including Title 17 and Title 22), staff supervision, community outreach, and program development.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operational Management
- Collaborate with the Administrator to lead daily community operations, including scheduling, staffing, and service delivery oversight.
- Act as a leadership presence on-site, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service in a team-oriented environment.
- Step in for the Administrator as needed to ensure continuity of leadership and decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations including Title 22, Title 17, and other applicable standards.
- Oversee accurate and timely documentation, filing systems, and reporting processes.
- Prepare for and participate in audits or inspections by regulatory bodies.
- Resident & Family Coordination
- Oversee resident scheduling, transportation, appointment coordination, and documentation with professionalism and empathy.
- Serve as a point of contact for residents and families, addressing concerns with a focus on care and satisfaction.
- Supervise and support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, development, and high standards in resident care and service.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to grow existing and new programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with local and state program representatives, case managers, and community organizations.
- Represent the organization publicly at conferences, forums, and stakeholder meetings.
- Organize and lead training sessions for internal staff, clients, and partner organizations.
- Ensure all stakeholders understand program requirements, compliance standards, and organizational policies.
- Collect and report program statistics, survey results, and compliance data to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Use data insights to support quality improvement and strategic planning efforts.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Travel occasionally, including overnight, to attend meetings, trainings, or support satellite operations.
- Promote and model adherence to cybersecurity policies and protocols across all levels of staff and operations.
