Work you’ll do
- Identify, prepare, and participate in proposals for new clients and projects
- Be active in the marketplace and build relationships to grow the business
- Develop, maintain, and leverage internal contacts across Deloitte businesses
- Stay connected to market trends to think through future innovative solutions
- Strengthen client relationships, liaise directly with clients to manage deliverables and deadlines, and generate additional engagement opportunities through excellent quality, timely execution, and a strategic approach to service delivery
- Participate in strategic firm initiatives such as the development of written materials to support new service offerings, the development and delivery of training materials, and participation in firm eminence events
- Supervise, coach and mentor all levels of staff
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback and training

Join our team of engineers, economists, planners, financiers, and data scientists who work to build and improve infrastructure and support economic growth across the United States. We work collaboratively to help agencies plan, finance, develop, build, and deliver the next-generation of infrastructure across the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Municipalities. The client issues we tackle include transportation, energy/renewables, connectivity, social and health infrastructure, disaster response and recovery monitoring, and smart infrastructure.
Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or another related field
- 8+ years of construction or energy industry related experience
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
- Ability to travel 40%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Consulting experience in the following areas: business process improvement, infrastructure and capital projects, or electrical engineering
Preferred:
- Previous Professional Services Firm or Big 4 experience
- Currently certified as a PE, AIA, PMP, PSP, CCM, or CEM

This compensation range is specific to Washington, DC and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $184,000 to $300,000.
