About the Home 

In close proximity to the harbour and Northern Beaches, Bupa Seaforth is a unique home with plenty of onsite amenities. This large home accommodates 76 residents in superior accommodation with quality single ensuite rooms, and a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role  

To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry

Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach. 

About you

Previous catering / food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.

You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable. 

Duties

• Maintain legislatedworkplace health andsafety,qualityand hygiene standards
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Respond toresidents’queries and requests 
• Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold,wrapor iron linen
• Catering / food services duties include assistingwith basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear diningareasand dishwashing  
• Cleaning duties includegeneral cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in theresidents’rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas

Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Cleaningor cateringexperience preferred but not essential
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
• You willhave an understanding ofwork health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.
