About the role
A mission critical role for S4 is the Senior Account Director. In this role, you will partner closely with one of our largest tech client teams, the team’s senior leadership, client marketing teams and partners partners, and internal marketing teams to support creative marketing initiatives and programs. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, gets nerdy about what they do, and works quickly and flexibly to get the job done. Has an acute attention to detail, and is passionate about marketing programs and challenges and uncovering solutions for clients and internal teams.

The day-to-day
- Team leadership overseeing a subset of our client’s business focused on creative execution and messaging strategy for product marketing.
- Experience operating in an agency, managing multiple projects, partnering closely with clients, and building strong long term client relationships.
- Ability to execute large-scale strategies and programs, with experience managing diverse sets of creative materials, digital marketing and creative programs mapping back to larger strategies and achieving key objectives.
- Partnership with the clients to develop the overall project approach, plans and timeline. Drives overall project management to ensure deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and to client’s specifications.
- Ability to gather information and be curious about the needs of the clients and their partners and applying them to briefs and communicating them to the agency team.
- Comfort to partner with strategy teams and creative teams in a seamless way and able to clearly communicate the needs of the clients’ business to creative solutions.
- Ability to develop a meaningful understanding of the product and niche audience needs.
- Partner with the client and strategy lead on writing creative briefs to communicate project requirements for creative and copywriting teams; act as point of contact for execution and guide internal agency team to deliver creative that maps to overall strategy.
- Strong financial management in tracking budgets and sourcing teams for multiple different projects at a given time, and partnering with operations to forecast resourcing needs.
- High energy, detail-oriented person, with a go-getter, positive attitude; comfortable working autonomously and within groups.
- Proficient with Google Workspace products preferred.

Who we’re looking for
- 8+ years experience in a fast-paced client side or agency marketing team with an understanding of the fundamentals of marketing practices and principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, run with ambiguity, and thrive with challenges.
- Must be a self-starter who can operate in a constantly evolving team environment
- Demonstrable excellence in digital marketing, knowledge of best practices, and passion for the work.
- Seasoned at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and are detail oriented to ensure projects are managed well with a good balance of managing project process and being flexible for new requests.
- Ability to distill complex concepts into cohesive, compelling creative expressions, and to visualize and translate ideas to team members.
- A knack for unravelling complex problems and processes in an easy to understand way.
- Must have excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
- Experience in project management with substantial cross-functional interaction and a demonstrated ability to work successfully in a virtual global environment
- Proficient in Google docs, slides, sheets or equivalent (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
