Vulnerability Management Engineer

You Are:
The Vulnerability Management Engineer will be responsible for developing and supporting security remediation efforts within the Accenture Federal Services environment. This role will support the strategy to drive the execution of infrastructure vulnerability remediation.
The Work:
- Review weekly vulnerability data to identify and prioritize vulnerability findings
- Develop processes and runbooks to address vulnerabilities in the environment.
- Interpret vulnerability scan results and assist in the remediation prioritization efforts.
- Maintain patch and vulnerability best practices to protect against exploitation of known/detected vulnerabilities.
- Technical Coordination between Infrastructure and Security teams.
- Actively engages with various internal stakeholders including Infrastructure teams and other teams in Information Security to conduct critical alert response management on identified vulnerabilities and the remediation efforts.
Here's What You Need:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Understanding of Cybersecurity Frameworks
- 3 years of managing vulnerability management systems
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Networks and Infrastructure
- Support developing and/or updating security audit artifacts.
- Experience working within an IT ticketing system.
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment.
- Technical writing (ability to document controls, gaps, meeting minutes, professional emails, etc.)
Bonus Points if you have:
- Knowledge of CMMC, NIST-800-171, DFARS.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
