Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team
As a Financial Services Corporate Finance Senior Associate, you will become an integral part of our dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with top-tier professionals who are renowned for their expertise and commitment to excellence. You will have the chance to work on cutting-edge financial transactions, advise clients on strategic initiatives, drive key decisions that impact the banking industry and the Greek economy and gain firsthand exposure to the financial services industry.
The successful candidate shall be able to apply the intricacies of financial analysis and valuation techniques. He shall be in a position to draft marketing materials including pitch books and presentations and have a good understanding of the complexities of a deal execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interact with C-suite executives and build relationships with influential clients, gaining invaluable experience and expanding your professional network. Your contributions will directly influence the success of our clients and the growth of PwC.
What we are looking for
Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign university (Bachelor’s & Master’s degree) relevant to any of the following areas: Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant discipline
More than 3-years of professional experience in mergers & acquisitions, financial modelling and business plan preparation gained in the financial advisory sector, banking or management consulting industry
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and the handling of large data sets including a good knowledge of at least an additional programming language
A relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA) completed or towards completion would be highly regarded
Extensive knowledge of applicable valuation techniques, accounting and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, Greek GAAP, Greek chart of accounts) and understanding of related risks in the applicable financial statement areas
Analytical thinking and strong financial acumen to solve complex problems
A passion for finance and the economy
Confident and positive attitude
Commitment to providing excellent quality work and building client relationships
Advanced collaboration skills
Fluency in both Greek and English
Fulfilled military obligations
