• Financial assistance to offset expenses for transportation and housing may be available on a needs-based basis for eligible in-person interns. More details about eligibility for this assistance will be provided at the time of offer.

Mid November – Late December: First round video interviews  

Mid – Late January: Second round interviews 

Late January – February: Selected candidates receive offers 

Job Description

Summer 2024 Internship Program:

• Applications Close: December 8th at 11:59pm ET. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible – applications could close earlier due to applicant volume!
• Program Dates: June 3 – August 9, 2024
• Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. 
• Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Englewood Cliffs office 3-5 days per week.

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
CNBC iOS Development 

As an iOS Development Intern, you will work as a fully-integrated member of the CNBC Mobile Engineering team, working on CNBC's flagship iOS App. You will work closely with peers from engineering, product, and design to move our platforms forward. In this internship, you will gain experience and insight from working with an Agile process within a CI/CD pipeline on an enterprise application  

Devops/Infrastructure

NBCU News Group DevOps is part of the Core Platform Engineering and supports the Web, Mobile and OTT applications and infrastructure for CNBC Digital. is looking for an expert DevOps tech lead. The candidate will work with a team of passionate engineers who strive to demonstrate continued excellence in the field of DevOps and automation. The DevOps intern will closely work with agile teams across the group to help them with the build automation in secure and reliable way. Using the latest tools and technologies, the DevOps intern will have an opportunity to learn the CNBC applications’ environments hosted within internal data centers and in the cloud, implementing solutions to: provision and manage environments; perform software development builds and automated testing; and monitor existing infrastructure.
