Overview
Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University Talent & Careers department is looking for an Events Coordinator to join its team!
The candidate will have the main responsibility of the coordination and communication of all the events organized by IE Talent & Careers. The candidate will effectively act as the key contact for the many activities categorized as events and will report to the Events Junior Manager.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm – Full availability to host occasional evening events (after office hours).

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid.
Responsibilities
Your role as an Events Coordinator will involve:
- Hosting Face-to-face and Online Events. Support on International Events too.
- Weekly planning and publication of events on IE’s relevant platforms and calendar.
- Handling all events logistics such as:
- Communicating planning with internal stakeholders and ensure alignment of all parties involved (Key Account Managers, Leadership Team, Operational Team, other IE departments, etc.).
- Providing post-event follow up & reports: Attendees lists, recordings, photos, invoices.
- Updating and maintain detailed internal databases related to events.
- Stablishing a procedure culture in Events with trainings to the T&C team and the creation of playbooks.
- Bringing new ideas and improvements to guarantee the best experience to students and companies during events.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in events management or projects coordination
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with different stakeholders and working in a fast-paced international team environment
- Detail and Customer oriented
- Not afraid to take initiative, responsibility, and ownership
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with Zoom to host online events
- Experience with Canva / Figma, Adobe Suite
- Basic knowledge of Sway, Loom and Scribe is a plus.
