Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum and Instruction: Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum to stimulate sensory exploration and support holistic growth in infants.
  • Classroom Management: Build a safe, inclusive, and comforting environment that encourages bonding, routines, and positive interactions.
  • Family Communication: Foster strong partnerships with families through regular updates, conferences, and collaborative goal-setting to enhance each infant's journey.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure top-tier supervision during all activities, adhering to licensing standards and promoting wellness for every infant, including proper feeding, diapering, and sleep routines.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning through workshops, peer collaboration, and school-supported certifications to stay at the forefront of infant care.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Thoughtfully observe and document developmental milestones, using insights to tailor experiences and celebrate progress with families.
  • Team Collaboration: Mentor assistant teachers, promote a positive team dynamic, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Behavior Guidance: Apply evidence-based strategies to nurture social-emotional bonds, responding to cues with empathy and expertise to support self-regulation in infants.
Qualifications – We're Looking for Top Talent:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred.
  • Associate's, Certificate of Mastery, or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with infant/toddler focus required.
  • At least 2 years of lead teaching experience in a licensed infant care or childcare setting, with a proven track record of responsive caregiving.
  • Completion of state-required pre-service training and ongoing professional development.
  • Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with infants, families, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to actively engage with infants, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
