What You'll Do:

 

The Sr. Analyst, Analytics role for Supply Chain is a primary technical resource in the planning, development, and execution of BI reporting and modeling initiatives in support of supply chain planning and optimization. 

Responsible for supporting data and analytics initiatives with the business intelligence supply chain manager and acting as a data liaison for the company to translate ERP, customer, facility, dimensional, and fact data into clean, referential, and reportable data sets used in internal dashboards, reports, and models.

 

• Design data flows to ingest and clean disparate data sources into a SQL Server database
• Work within the SQL Server environment designing SQL scripts, views, tables and procedures to support data needs for forecasting, Power BI reporting and ad-hoc data requests from cross functional team members
• Develop and maintain Power BI reporting for various supply chain metrics and KPIs
• Participate in monthly S&OP (sales and operations planning) demand and supply review processes, making sure data inputs and outputs are understood by intended audiences
• Execute exception reporting, identifying opportunities for supply chain optimization
• Develop translation mechanisms between internal and external data sources (ex. Calendars, SKUs, terminology)

 

How You'll Do It:

• Working knowledge of SQL (Developing SQL scripts, understanding of SQL database structures)
•  BI tools (preferably Power BI) and Excel (pivots, VBA, etc.)
• Microsoft Office competencies (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Comfortable and capable presenting material to cross-functional groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor communications depending on audience

 

What You'll Bring:

 

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in statistics, engineering or related technical field, 2+ years experience in data analytics or related field
• Preferred: Certificate in business analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or supply chain
• Required: Azure data lake and Azure data factory experience
