Sales & Operations Coordinator

Primary Purpose Summary
The S&OP Coordinator will play a crucial role in facilitating and optimizing the Sales and Operations Planning process. This position is responsible for coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure alignment between sales forecasts, production plans, inventory levels, and customer demand. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

 

• Coordinate and manage the S&OP process, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to gather and analyze data for accurate demand forecasting.
• Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to ensure alignment with sales forecasts and customer demand.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between sales forecasts and production plans.
• Prepare and present regular S&OP reports and performance metrics to senior management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the S&OP process.
• Support the implementation of S&OP software and tools.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of S&OP activities and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in S&OP, supply chain, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in S&OP software and tools (e.g., SAP, Excel).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
