Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled & experienced Process / Operations Excellence Engineer in the Tantalum Innovation Center located in Simpsonville, SC. This is an onsite role that will lead and support initiatives that drive operational efficiency, process optimization & continuous improvement across the manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain metrics & indicators used to demonstrate process control & yield improvement
  • Gather & analyze data to support efforts to reduce cost & improve efficiencies
  • Work in cross function team atmosphere to ensure the delivery of high-quality components on schedule
  • Commissioning & qualification of new equipment and technologies if required
  • Collaborate with equipment engineering, production, quality & supply chain teams to ensure alignment & sustainability of changes
  • Support digital transformation and automation initiatives to streamline operations

Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Operations Management or related field. 
    • 0 - 5 years of related experience desired
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI, etc)
    • Ability to lead projects independently and/or collaboratively
    • Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
    • Excellent teamwork skills which include demonstrating a positive attitude, good work ethic and sense of urgency in completing tasks/projects (driven)
