What we’re looking for…

The Sr. Manager of Customer Marketing will report to the Vice President of Customer Marketing and is focused on building stronger relationships with ScienceLogic customers.  They will do this through engaging directly with them and through marketing loyalty and expansion campaigns. The mission of this role is to elevate and leverage current customers’ experiences to improve retention and growth. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, customer success, sales ops, product management, etc.)  to ensure alignment and execution of key initiatives. They will also be responsible for properly segmenting our customer audience by careabouts in order to drive the most effective programs.

 

What you’ll be doing…

  • Standardize customer awareness and demand campaign framework and processes across the organization.
  • Create and manage customer engagement and communication programs through ongoing nurture campaigns to drive demand.
  • Collaborate with demand generation and field marketing to ensure a cohesive creation, execution, and optimization stategy exists to increase engagement.
  • Join forces with digital team on awareness and engagement programs, and ensures tactic selection is appropriate for program design.
  • Partner with portfolio marketing to identify audience requirements and provides insight into what is and isn’t working to drive future requirements.
  • Plan the best mix of integrated inbound and outbound tactics, including offline and digital.
  • Engage proactively with sales to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of demand marketing programs.
  • Identify and create a testing approach for demand marketing program pilots.
  • Oversee database of exisiting customer accounts and the key roles within them, including augmenting and expanding contact and account data.
  • Play a key role in governing the proactive customer contact process to prevent disjointed, overlapping or conflicting communications to the customer base.
  • Target happy customers for upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build rapport with customers to increase renewals, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Determine demand marketing program metrics and how to measure against objectives to gauge success.
  • Document and communicate best practices for demand marketing program implementation across the organization, including recommendations for improvements.
  • Communicate with and educate executive leadership about demand marketing programs.
  • Oversee the seletion of agencies and third-party vendors for intent data, content, gifting, etc..

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree with emphasis on communications, marketing, and business.
  • 5+ years of experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Customer-obsessed.
