Join our team! As a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services. You'll be developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) best practices for MBSE model management therein
- Experience in instruction, process, and template generation, review, and implementation across Aerospace and defense programs
- Practical knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering principles and practices and how they align with MBSE methodologies
- Experience in working with model based multidisciplinary design and development teams
- Background in requirements management, requirement derivation, and requirement allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Extensive experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such Jama, Dassault 3DX, Cameo, Dymola, and MATLAB
- Knowledge of industry standard system engineering design principles, requirements management approaches, Traditional Systems Engineering and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) approaches
- Experienced in the application of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288
- INCOSE ASEP/CSEP Certification
- Background in assessing and addressing Aerospace and Defense System Complexity and System Integration challenges
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary team through system baseline definition and maturation exercises in a complex development setting
- Experience in contributing to and executing high-impact trade studies
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Thorough understanding of establishing, tracking, and addressing key programmatic risks
